An Azaya Blue Overview
In 2011, co-founder Katalin Kekedi launched Azaya Blue: you may also know her as Kata Kekedi.
To be perfectly honest, it was much more difficult to find information about her and Azaya Blue than I initially thought it would be.
When you do a Google search, all you get is Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter hits.
I couldn’t even find an official website with anything other than product information.
The official website address http://azayablue.com redirects to the Bluehost default page.
And the last Facebook post was March 5, 2015
So, I decided to use the Linkedin as the main source.
Azaya Blue makes and sells high end fashion accessories such as handbags, fashion accessories & fashion jewelry.
The aim of Azaya Blue’s products is to make your current wardrobe look more fresh.
Exotic and precious materials are used and added to laser cut leather handbags.
Azaya Blue has become rather popular and started several fashion trends.
Their scarves, beading products and metal works are the bread and butter of the company.
Azaya Blue is headquartered in Seattle Washington, U.S.A and employ up to 50 people aside from their affiliates.
It is important to note that there is absolutely no information available on the other co-founder(s).
I mean, I couldn’t even find a name.
I know this may not seem like an important detail but to some people, transparency is paramount.
In fact, the more public information available, the more comfortable people feel with the product and company.
I guess, what I am trying to say is that I really hope Kekedi decides to update all of this information so that all the questions can be put to rest, once and for all.
It appears that the company is no longer operating.

Plan To Get Paid…Or Not
Before we dive into the figures game, let’s take a quick look at the price points of Azaya Products so that we are clear on exactly what you will be selling.
- Handbag Price Points: $98-$118
- Jewelry Price Points: $29-$108
- Scarf Price Points: $29-$108
I am assuming that there are seasonal items but I’m no fashionisto.
Now that we are ready to look at the figures of the compensation plan, you will have to get used to focusing on direct sales and recruitment qualifications.
This is the sad truth when it comes to the vast majority of MLMs.
This is not necessarily a bad thing but if you lack those skills, you are bound to fail.
Without further ado, here are the Azaya Blue Ranks.

Azaya Blue Ranks
Associate Stylist: You must pay between $198 – $698 for the membership and this does not translate to any MLM commissions.
This compensation plan is not off to a good start!!!
Gold Stylist: If you maintain $500 a month in retail sales, recruit a minimum of 1 affiliates that are able to generate $250 a month in sales & have a monthly downline volume of $1000, you are a Gold Stylist.
Huh, I wonder how many people achieve this. We will most likely never know because of transparency issues.
Platinum Stylist: At least $500 in sales, recruit 3 affiliates that make $250 a month in sales each & a monthly downline volume of $2500.
These figures are starting to get a bit scary considering this is only the third level.
Platinum Lead Stylist: At least $500 in sales, recruit at least 6 affiliates that make $250 in sales each & have a monthly downline SV of $5000.
I’m going to stop commenting on these sales figures because they speak for themselves…
Group Leader: At least $600 in sales, recruit 9 affiliates that make $250 a month in sales each & finally, have a monthly downline sales volume(SV) of $10,000.
Platinum Group Leader: At least $600 in sales, recruit 12 affiliates that make $250 in sales each but this time…one of the affiliiates has to be a Group Leader or higher in rank.
You have to have a downline SV of at least $12,000 and a Group Leader SV of $25,000 per month.
Executive Director: At least $750 in sales, recruit 15 people that make $250 in sales each. Two of them must be Group Leader or above.
You must also have a downline SV of $15,000 and a Group Leader SV of $50,000.
Platinum Director: At least $750 in sales, recruit 20 affiliates that make $250 a month.
Three of them have to be Group Leader or above & 1 of them has to be a Platinum Group leader or above.
You have to have a monthly downline SV of $20,000 and a Group Leader SV of $100,000.
Ok, before I go any further, I have to put things into perspective for you… and me.
As I am writing this, I am overwhelmed at some of those figures.
In order to reach $100,000 SV you would have to sell 926 scarves in a month.
Or you could sell 926 pieces of jewelry.
Or you could sell 848 handbags to reach this daunting figure.
To add a little more trouble to the equation, these totals are calculated by selling max price point products.
If you are able to only sell cheaper products, you would literally have to open a retail store to sell this volume of product.
I am ready to move forward with the review and get right to the verdict because the qualifications are absolutely ridiculous…

The Positives Of Azaya Blue
I think the one good thing that Azaya Blue has going for them is a large range of price points.
This means that you could reach just about anyone in regards to income.
This is not the case for many MLMs.
Usually you are stuck with a few products at an expensive price.
What bothers me though is that there are only about 20 items total produced by Azaya Blue.
This may be counteractive to the price point range.
This doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to move product, it just means that you have a higher mountain to climb.
The Negatives Of Azaya Blue
There is an obvious lack of transparency when it comes to Azaya Blue.
You have to cross reference several social media apps in order to get a bit of solid information.
In today’s global economy, this is inexcusable in my opinion.
Azaya Blue should be more forthcoming with public information so that people can get a clearer picture of what the company is.
If there is nothing to hide…why not bring it out into the open?
Unless they have gone out of business.
The company’s compensation plan is mainly focused on retail and direct sales at parties etc.
Look, if you have the networking skills and have success with this type of business, go for it and take advantage.
However, there seems to be a door to door sales(wo)man feel to it.
This may be the reason why the product is a little on the pricey side…

The Final Verdict
Every once in a while I come across an MLM that gets me a bit frustrated…
And Azaya Blue is one of those companies.
Before I get too carried away, I want to be clear that their product has many positive reviews and testimonies.
So the product is not where the problems lie.
The problem is with the compensation plan and the ranking qualifications.
To make any kind of livable wage, you have to at least reach Platinum Group Leader which means you have to recruit at least 12 affiliates…
I don’t know about you but this seems a bit crazy considering 95% of all MLMers do not possess the skills to recruit, let alone find 12.
What is even more significant is that all of your Affiliates have to produce on a monthly basis or you miss out on some serious bonuses.
I will go on the record saying that Azaya Blue is in no way a scam…but I will say that I don’t see a way for people to succeed with this MLM unless you are 1 in 1,000,000.
If you doubt my findings, go ahead and post the success rate of affiliates.
I may be wrong and in this case, I almost hope I am.
I invite you to post a comment that might shed some light on this otherwise obscure company.
