Today, I’ll be talking about the Fetch Rewards app, where you will be rewarded for purchasing items from specific brands.
But is it true? Can you legitimately earn money while shopping with this app or is it just a scam? We’ll soon find out in this review. But first, let us talk about what is the Fetch Reward app.

What is the Fetch Reward App?
The Fetch Reward is an app that is designed to reward you every time you shop and purchase items from more than 250 popular brands found on the app.
You will be earning points that you can exchange for rewards, like gift cards from different brands. The app claims that you can earn points from almost any of the grocery store you can find.
They have partnered with a lot of the popular grocery stores out there to allow you to earn from almost any store you visit. Fetch Rewards are also directly dealing with the brands and not just the store.
In this way, you are still able to earn some points from the grocery store, even if it is not part of the app’s list, as long as you purchase an item coming from one of the brands found on the app.
You will just need to download the app, available in both Apple Store and the Google Play Store, register then you can start earning points while you do your shopping.
Who Uses the Fetch Reward App?
The Fetch Reward app is used by two types of people, they are the people like you who are shoppers and the merchants who sell the products and services that you usually purchase.
For merchants, the app provides an opportunity for them to entice people like you to shop more in their store or to purchase more of their products and services.
By offering points for every purchase, merchants are assured that there will be more people looking to buy products and services from their stores. This could possibly result in a sales increase for them.
For shoppers like you, the Fetch Reward app provides you with an opportunity to earn something for purchasing items that you would normally purchase even if there is no reward involved.
It’s a win-win situation for you since you will be rewarded for things that you are already doing, and becoming a member is free, so there really is no risk to try this app.
How Can You Earn from Fetch Reward?
As a member of Fetch Rewards, you will be able to earn points by purchasing items from participating brands or in participating stores. The points you accumulate can then be redeemed for rewards, such as gift cards.
You will just need to scan your grocery item receipt using the app, then it will calculate how much points you will receive then send it to your account. Now, you can earn points in two ways, the Base Points, and the Bonus Points.
The Base Points are earned whenever you purchase items from the listed brands. The points to be given to you will be determined by the dollar amount of the item you purchased.
This means the points you can get will vary per brand, per item, and per amount on the item. Some of the listed brands include AXE, Dove, Gatorade, Pepsi, Cap’n Crunch, Heinz, and a lot more.
Aside from Base Points, you can also earn Bonus Points from the items you purchased. It will be given to you if the price of the item you purchased exceeds the target price needed.
Fetch Rewards based the target price on an algorithm that is regularly changing. After calculating your receipt and taking into consideration the Bonus Points, the app will display the total points you will receive per item per receipt.
Aside from purchasing items from listed stores or brand, scanning your receipt will already earn you some points, as long as it comes from the listed store.
Fetch Rewards also has Special Offer Bonuses that you can take advantage of to earn more points. Fetch Rewards provides you with different listed offers that you can view within the app.
You just need to complete these offers to earn the offer bonus points. An example of these types of offers is earning a percentage back from items purchased.
For example, there’s an offer for 20% back, so if you purchase an item that is worth $10 and it provides you with 10,000 points, you will earn an additional 2,000 points from that purchase because of the 20% back offer.
Fetch Reward also has a referral program and you will earn 2,000 points for every friend you are able to successfully refer to the app.
As a member, you will be provided with a unique referral code that you will promote and share with people who you think will join the app.
The beauty of their referral program is that your friend will also earn 2,000 points if they enter the code you provided. They will receive the bonus points once they sign up.
Your referral bonus points will be reflected on your account after your first submitted receipt has been completely processed.
The minimum points you need in order to exchange them for rewards is 3,000 points. You can exchange this for $3 gift cards coming from some of the popular brands, like Target, Amazon, and more.
There are no cash rewards, but the closest you can get is reward cards coming from Visa or MasterCard. The minimum amount you can redeem is $10 and it is worth 11,500 points.
In order to start earning points, you will need to download the app, either in the Apple Store or in the Google Play Store and register for free. The app, though, is only available in select countries.
What is Good about the Fetch Rewards?
Now that we have discussed and identified what is Fetch Rewards, it is time to talk about what is good with the app.
- Probably the biggest thing that I liked about this app is that it will allow you to earn something for already doing things that you normally do. Your weekly or monthly trip to the grocery store becomes more exciting and more meaningful because of the rewards that you could likely get for purchasing items.
- It is easy to navigate around the Fetch Rewards app and joining is also easy and free to do so.
- There are a lot of brands and stores that Fetch Rewards have partnered with, allowing you to earn almost every time you do your grocery shopping at any store. It is also good that you don’t need to buy specific products to earn points, just specific brands.
- The app also has a low payout, as gift cards can already be redeemed for just 3,000 points, making it easy for you to cash in your earned points.
What is Bad about the Fetch Rewards?
Not everything, though, is smooth sailing for Fetch Rewards, as there are things that they could improve upon.
- Probably the biggest letdown of the app is that it doesn’t really have any cash rewards that you can request to be sent via your PayPal account. Sure they provide rewards cards from Visa or MasterCard that can also function as cash, but I’m sure you would still prefer actually receiving cash to your PayPal account.
- It is not yet available worldwide, which can limit the number of people you can refer to join the app.
Is Fetch Rewards Legit Or A Scam?
Since Fetch Rewards is relatively a new app, it is still hard to say if it will turn out to be a scam in the long run or not.
But for now, all signs are pointing that the app is very much legitimate and you will really be able to earn money by doing your grocery shopping.
It really does pay you the necessary points that you earned and allows you to redeem your points for rewards once you have already earned enough.
You just have to make sure that the receipt you are scanning will contain items that you purchased from participating brands or it came from a participating store.
Just don’t expect to earn big here or that you can soon leave your job and just concentrate on this app. It won’t make you rich or even earn much money, but it can make your grocery shopping much more fun.
Do I Recommend Fetch Rewards?
Yes, I actually recommend that you try out this app, considering the many benefits that you will get for using it.
There really isn’t much risk here, considering you are not paying for anything and it is not requiring you to disclose a lot of vital information.
Besides, you will still be purchasing items from a lot of the brands and stores that are participating in Fetch Rewards, whether you are rewarded for it or not.
So might as well take advantage of this opportunity and get rewarded for purchasing these items. As long as you don’t expect to become rich here, then you won’t have a problem with this app.

I have over 8,000 points but have’nt receive any awards as yet. I am not ready to redeem any of my points….thought once I get over 3,000 I would start seeing some awards posted.
You have to go under rewards and pick what you want. It’s up to you how you use your points!
Does this app really give you the rewards
I had over 8800 in points and needed to change my password and they suspended my account. They stated that I requested it and all I done was question what happened to my account. I have issues with it not capturing my complete receipts and having to wait for them to check into it and they never respond. I have never received anything from them
Having hard time getting bonus points. Dont know if its a scam or not. When you upload the receipt alot of the purchases are left off the receipt. I am going to contact the companies of the products to see whats going on
